We meet with you every week, every Friday, to highlight a batch of the latest distinctive applications for smartphones that caught our attention while searching in the application stores. As you all know, Google Play Store and App Store are not limited to those applications that every user knows like WhatsApp, YouTube, Instagram…etc, but everyday developers add their new applications to perform a specific purpose that helps to make the most of the smartphone. So, after last week's issue of the best new Android and iPhone apps, here are our latest picks for the most important apps that you will know for the first time and are definitely worth a try.
1- Duolingo ABC App
An educational application recently introduced by Duolingo provides a fun and practical way to teach English to preschoolers or first graders. The company indeed has a leading application in the field of language education, but it is designed to be aimed at adults, teens, and children alike, while Duolingo ABC is designed only for children to learn to read and write in English!
The app offers more than 700 game-style lessons that mix learning with fun! To help children learn and love reading. It provides a fun and effective ways to learn playfully through educational lessons and games that include multi-sensory activities, such as drawing the alphabet by hand and listening to stories filled with engaging images designed to inspire and support your child, along with mini lessons to learn the meanings of words and vocabulary and learn to pronounce the letters correctly And more.

2- Hop - Send it fast
A new application that allows you to share files across different devices regardless of their operating system, but perhaps the most important feature of the design is simple and straightforward so that the sharing process requires only a few easy clicks. Hop allows you to share any type of file of any size without restrictions between your multiple devices whether they are running Android, iOS, Windows, or Mac. The application relies on the local network to discover devices and establish a connection between them to share the files you specify. This means that the devices must be on the same router or one Hotspot, to ensure the speed of data exchange and protect privacy.
All you have to do is install the application on your phone and then install its copy on your computer, then open Hop and select the files to be shared and then choose the destination (the device you want to share files with) and within minutes the transfer process is over! That's all there is to it, you can apply the steps from your phone or computer with the same ease and simplicity. [Download the app: iOS – Android]
3- Ring app
A free iPhone app that allows you to search the Internet with images to find more information about them or see what the image contains or its origin. Ring provides a "reverse search" for images, and what makes it stand out is that it relies on more than one search engine such as Google, Bing, and Yandex to find more accurate results. The application is also characterized by ease of use and simple design, you can either choose an image from the gallery or add a link to the image if it is online or even take a picture with the camera of what is in front of you or retrieve the image that you made a copy of, regardless of the method used, press Search and wait for it to start to Display the results in front of you.
On the results page, you can switch between search engines to find the most relevant result for you. The accuracy and relevance of any reverse image search service may vary, depending on the image used and the search engine you rely on. But overall having multiple search engines built into one app is great for collecting a wide range of relevant information about an image from all over the web! [Download the app: iOS]
4- DeftPDF Application
One of the distinguished applications that we have recently discovered on the Google Play Store, DeftPDF is completely free and provides a great set of tools to control PDF files from your Android phone, specifically here are more than 40 different free tools that allow you to either edit the file such as modifying the embedded text and adding images in it or deleting parts of it. There is a merge tool as well which allows merging pages of any number of PDF files together into one file with the ability to easily rearrange the pages as if it were a game!
Compress PDF files, delete specific pages, crop white margins, add an electronic signature, even protect the PDF with a password, rotate pages, or add a watermark on them, all these tasks and more can be done through DeftPDF only. It even allows translating files and converting them to other formats with the click of a button! So we think it's a useful app in different situations and you should try it knowing that you don't have to create a special account to use it. [Download the app: Android]
5- CV Maker | Resume Builder
As the name suggests, Resume CV Builder is an app to help users create a resume for free and easily over the phone, although it is usually a process that requires relying on a computer to get a professional result this app has enough tools to produce a competitive resume as well and in a matter of minutes. The application comes with several professionally designed ready-made templates in addition to an editorial tool to design the right template for you in an organized manner with a wide range of customization options.
The interface of the application is attractive and easy to work with, so if you want to create a resume quickly you can just add personal details once in the application, such as qualifications, competencies/skills, and experience, and then use them in any other template with a single click instead of re-entering them with each template. A unique application to manually create gradient backgrounds according to your preferences, from your iPhone or your Mac. Acrylic provides all the tools you need to create color schemes and create a color-coordinated background that you design from the ground up! 7- Push Note App
There are a lot of Notes apps and some of them look similar and offer a new idea other than a difference in interface design, but Push Note is different from any other app I've tried in this category. The application does not have a graphical interface, as soon as you run it, a window appears asking you to make a note or note, then press Push, and here the application will install this note on the notification bar! Any notes you type will be pinned to the notification bar so you can access them quickly and keep an eye on your phone.
You can write down random numbers that you don't want to save in contacts, help you remember important appointments...etc. The application has a settings page through which you can activate the dark mode or make any note you write permanently attached to the notification bar, that is, it is not deleted when you swipe left and right over the notification.
