Monitoring the brand of the “RealityOS” operating system for the upcoming Apple glasses
Apple's operating system for the upcoming augmented reality glasses known as “Reality OS” appeared in the trademark app recently, confirming that the augmented reality glasses might be announced soon.
Apple's augmented reality glasses filled many previous leaks, and today the leaks shed new light on the operating system developed by Apple for augmented reality glasses, which is known as "RealityOS".
The operating system was first spotted in a report published by Bloomberg in 2017, and although Apple has not confirmed the trademark for the AR headset operating system yet, the appearance of the trademark in the trademark application confirms the title with which the operating system is officially launched.
On the other hand, the appearance of the operating system in the trademark application confirms the approaching date of the official announcement of the glasses, which have already filled many previous leaks, and some leaks confirmed that Apple presented the final model of the augmented reality glasses to the company’s board of directors.
A previous report from Bloomberg also indicated Apple's plans to announce augmented reality glasses at the end of 2022 after the launch of the Developers Conference, but some updates that have been added to the augmented reality glasses may lead to delaying the official announcement to the beginning of 2023.
The Apple-developed augmented reality headset is referred to in the trademark application as a wearable computing device that supports design and software development, and development of computers and accessories, as well as computer games.
While the leaks confirmed that the design of the glasses combines augmented and virtual reality technology, providing virtual content and supporting the display of virtual elements in actual reality.
It is noteworthy that the trademark for the operating system was registered through a company known as “Realityo Systems LLC”, meaning that Apple did not register the trademark directly, but expectations indicate that this fake company is used by Apple to withhold the details of the glasses and the upcoming system.
