 Apple has announced a new version of the macOS Monterey 12.4 update that aims to support the compatibility of Macs featuring the M2 chip.

Tomorrow Apple is preparing to launch the new MacBook Pro with the M2 chip, and in conjunction with the launch of the new device, Apple offers a special version of the macOS Monterey 12.4 update that specifically supports the new generation of devices.

The new version of the operating system comes with the number 2F2092, which is a limited release for the new generation of Macs, so other Mac users will not need to install this version.

Apple released the first version of the macOS Monterey 12.4 update about a month ago for users, and through this update, it provided several improvements in the operating system, which include improvements in the Podcasts application, as well as improvements in the Studio screen camera.

The Podcasts app also came in the new update with new settings that limit the storage of episodes in the app on Macs, as old episodes are deleted automatically.

The Studio Monitor software has also been updated to version 15.5, which is available as a separate update that supports the addition of improvements to camera adjustment, noise reduction, and improved contrast in the camera.

While the new version of macOS Monterey 12.4 supports devices with the M2 processor in particular, before the launch of the new MacBook Pro tomorrow and the M2 MacBook Air next month.

It is reported that the M2 MacBook Pro comes with improvements in processing and graphics, without changing the camera, design, or distinctive ports of the previous version.
